Our Meeting Agreements
-
This is a peer-led space for neurodivergent adults to share experiences related to altered states, integration, and personal growth. The meeting is meant for support, connection, and self-discovery—not as a replacement for therapy or medical advice from a licensed clinician.
-
Cameras are optional—please use whatever setup feels most comfortable.
Stimming and movement are welcome throughout the meeting.
Non-speaking participants or those who prefer not to use voice may post in the chat and request that a facilitator read their message aloud. Please preface the message with “SPEAK REQUEST” (or any other indicator) to alert facilitators monitoring the chat.
Live transcripts are available and speaker view can be enabled for a less cluttered Zoom interface.
-
Mute your mic when not speaking to reduce background noise.
Use the raise-hand emoji to enter the speaking queue. Facilitators may call participants who have not spoken to the front of the queue to help balance participation.
Keep shares to ~5 minutes to give space for everyone. If a share goes beyond the allotted time, facilitators may interrupt a participant to notify them
-
Speak from personal experience (descriptive, not prescriptive advice—i.e. avoid giving medical advice or telling others what they “should” do).
Refrain from detailed information about illegal drug use (e.g., specific dosages, locations, or dates). Use non-specific language (e.g. macro/micro-dose)
When discussing sensitive content (e.g., trauma, suicide, abuse), please:
Give a trigger warning
Briefly name the topic
Pause a moment before continuing, to give others a chance to mute or step away
-
Facilitator names and roles are introduced at the beginning of each meeting. You may contact a facilitator (via chat or private message) during the facilitated portion of the meeting with any questions or concerns.
